As of this writing, there are mere hours before my first ever Kickstarter campaign launches. I’ve delayed, worried, researched, planned, worked and dreamed over the last few weeks and I think everything is as ready as it’s going to be.  If you haven’t visited the official Kickstarter page yet, you can click below to go straight to the campaign:

When I first decided I was gonna go for it with Kickstarter, I knew I would need a video where I could talk directly to you all and help share my vision for my next musical chapter (even though video interviews aren’t my favorite!)  On this front, I gotta give a massive shoutout to our friend Brandon Hull who has worked with Sean on productions in the past. He turned around an awesome final product that felt natural and authentic to me – so quickly and professionally too! You guys should check out his website: www.brandonthomashull.com especially if you’re looking for a solid guy and amazing human to make videos for you in town!

My amazing Hubby Sean obviously has brought to life all my other videos so far and took a lot of pictures on the shoot day (as he has been doing patiently and wonderfully for a while now). It’s always THE BEST doing stuff with him. <3

A last credit and and thank you goes out to Rowan Millar at The Old School, a beautiful farm to table restaurant and venue that graciously allowed us to film the interview portions of the video on location. We are such fans and if you haven’t had the pleasure of dining or visiting there yet, check out their website to learn more about them: https://www.theoldschoolnashville.com

There is so much unknown ahead.  This campaign will run for 25 days, ending on June 21st at 7pm.  Where will I be and what will have happened by the time we get there?  I wish I could know now!  We’ll take it one day at a time and see where that gets us; I WILL post daily stories on Instagram and Facebook of me updating the Backer’s Board and all other significant campaign happenings.  I’m also thinking of doing at least a weekly blog post on the progress and process…maybe like a campaign journal of everything from that week.  (Let me know in the comments if that’s something you guys would like to see!)

I have long be a follower of your family music. I wish you the best in this endeavor and hope it is very successful. I signed up as the #8 supporter. That is cool!

My wife and I live in Canada. We even tried to look at the possibility of getting your musical family into Canada at one time. I hope you do not forget Canada.

The other reason we follow you and your family is because I am Christian and know your family is too. I hope you do not forget songs and bible verse that have strengthen and encouraged you through the difficult and also joyous days of your life today. I would look forward to having you keeping Christian music which calls other to Christ as part of your work.

May God bless you and Mr Bootstraps
